Creating several stylescapes helped determine the color palette, typography, logo redesign, website design, among other aspects of the brand. During this process, I asked founder Danny DeJesus to obtain input from the target audience to understand what resonated more with them. The result was an urban, vibrant look and feel that authentically communicates the values of the organization.

(formerly known as United Tech Project Foundation).

The journey began with an organization name change

SOLUTION

UTH needed a complete identity rebrand to align more closely to their new vision and mission. Part of their goal is to truly connect with their young, urban target audience—to give them a sense of trust, community, and support.

PROBLEM

Urban Tech Hero (UTH) is a not-for-profit organization that offers free technical training to underserved youth heading for a life of poverty and helps them obtain tech jobs that suit their strengths. Students are provided with mentoring support from an IT professional and relevant work experience during their training.
